here we go
right sorry for the lack of updates- been a busy couple of months. Happy new year anyway!!!
in typical taken to the wire style i have finally got things sorted and the house of burke is in order for this forthcoming (mis)adventure flat is sorted and rented, and have reduced my life of tat down to 13 boxes in storage and more importantly sub 20 kilos of backpack for the next couple of years a lot less than i normally take on a winter overnighter to the pentlands or the lead anvil i carried up the cairncorms , everything has come together!!!! and a great abeit with some setbacks leaving do at the barony bar on broughton street on friday night - so nice to see such a great turnout!
i feel its necessary to thank a few folk for their help in getting to this stage without whom - i could/would be a gibbering mess of high blood pressure and stress.
Pete, the always wonderful alex, ling, marko, the always lovely and amazing maggie . crazy horse iain , suz, big tony, ,my kiwik, carey and jules, laurel and hardy , pippa, rickx,elaine, my incredible mum and fantastic dad the list is endless so apologies to those who i have missed out- to all of you a very sincere and heartfelt thanks!!!!!!!!!
I'm online at letham grange for the last time in a while after a great goodbye night out at roos leap in montrose with the family followed by a late night last minute haircut from suz - can't have a burke going off with a mop of hair eh :-) - see attached

Train down to London tomorrow to stay with some old friends and see some old london faces before the final push.
